Brook House 3-OCFC 1

City made the short journey up the M40 to the home of Brook House, with key players Craker and Spence suspended, Justin Merritt and Matty Glynn both injured the news that Lee Rendell hadn't arrived was just the start of what was to be a nightmare day

City, in black and white started slowly and soon fell behind when a well placed Wilkins was beaten.

City appeared to pick things up a bit and looked to get back into the game when a cross deep into the box was met by the head of Alex Stewart for 1-1 , this was to be short lived, a short corner from Brook House saw City's defence fall to pieces, with the ball failing to be cleared it whipped through a pack of players past the un-sighted Carl wilkins.

H/T 2-1

The teams re-emerged for the second period and Brook house applied immeadiate pressure and eventually won a free-kick 18 yards out which was planted into the bottom corner of the goal for 3-1

Carl Wilkins pulled off a string of saves and in my view was the best player for City all afternoon, Andy Lyne made 2 subs, Harry Burnley replaced the out of sorts Andy Marriott and Danny Keen replaced Anthony Alleyne, this perked City up a little, Burnley tried in vain to get the ball into the box and Keen had a good chance towards the end but the ball got tangled in his legs.

F/T 3-1

Wilkins, Lane, Avery, Marriott(burnley), Durrant, G.Williams,Takriti, R.Williams, Jones, Stewart, Alleyne(keen)
